About The Position
The Waste Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of medical waste destruction equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures and government rules and regulations. The position works Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no weekends, and is scheduled for 40 hours per week.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Forklift Certificate preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review work throughout the process and upon completion to ensure it has been performed properly.
- Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators of any malfunctions.
- Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring safety procedures and equipment.
- Follow all additional standard operating procedures.
