About The Position

The Waste Tech removes and properly disposes of solid waste, regulated medical waste, and recyclables from designated areas throughout the facility. The role ensures waste is separated correctly and transported to the appropriate disposal locations. The Waste Tech also assists with general cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and sanitary environment, following established cleaning schedules and protocols. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Minimum experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or janitorial work.
