About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking Medical Waste Technicians to collect, segregate, and prepare medical waste at customer locations. This entry-level position involves working throughout customer facilities and supporting safe, compliant handling of medical waste. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
- Willingness to receive a Hepatitis B vaccination.
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make medical waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility.
- Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
- Package and label medical waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance.
- Participate in spill response at customer sites as needed.
- Operate forklifts.
- Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of waste-hauling vehicles.
- Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.
