About The Position

We are seeking a Waste Management Specialist Energy, to join our Team in our Idaho Falls, ID office. Your role Interfaces with waste generator to ensure that program requirements are met and activities are completed in accordance with applicable procedures/requirements. Ensures that waste is packaged, accepted, labeled, stored, characterized, shipped and dispositioned in an efficient, timely, and compliant manner. Interprets waste management and transportation rules, regulations and policies to assist generators in the proper and compliant management of facility and project waste, including low level, hazardous, recyclable and non-regulated.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Technical work experience or education
• Strong Math and Science background preferred
• Working knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations ( RCRA, CERLA and TSCA, DOT)
• Organized and disciplined approach to documentation, development, maintenance and tracking of waste activities
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered
