About The Position
The Waste Handling Supervisor is responsible for managing, delegating job assignments and provide guidance to the waste management team members and arrange disposal of client waste. Supervisors are assigned in organizing a steady flow of recyclable goods. These items include but not limited to large cardboard items, plastic, scrap, refuse and wooden shipping pallets. All staff will be trained on safety protocols and distribution of materials. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful and heathy work environment.
Requirements
- Experience in waste management.
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Skills in organizing and managing flow of materials.
Responsibilities
- Managing and delegating job assignments to waste management team members.
- Providing guidance to waste management team members.
- Arranging disposal of client waste.
