About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to work in the Wash Aisle Department, supporting plant-floor operations by loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers. The role includes operating washing machines according to wash-load formulation, processing sequence, and proper sling weight; delivering processed garments and flat goods to designated areas; monitoring detergent supplies; reporting equipment malfunctions; and maintaining accurate production records and a clean, safe work area. The position offers on-the-job training, ongoing cross-training, and opportunities for career growth. The work week is 40 hours over five days, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units for weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate washing machines according to wash-load formulation, processing sequence, and proper sling weight.
• Load and unload dryers.
• Deliver processed garments to the designated finishing area.
• Deliver processed flat goods to the designated area.
• Monitor detergent supply and report equipment malfunctions.
• Accurately report production processes.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Complete paperwork and record keeping in a timely manner.
• Follow safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by the area supervisor or management.
