About The Position

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to work in the Wash Aisle Department at its plant. The role supports floor operations by loading and unloading industrial washers and dryers, operating washers according to wash-load formulations and processing sequences, and delivering processed garments and flat goods to designated areas. The position includes on-the-job training and ongoing cross-training across production areas. The schedule is a 40-hour, five-day work week, with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and operate washing machines according to wash-load formulation, processing sequence, and proper sling weight.
Load and unload dryers.
Deliver processed garments to the designated finishing area.
Deliver processed flat goods to the designated area.
Monitor detergent supplies and report equipment malfunctions.
Accurately report production processes.
Maintain a clean work area.
Complete paperwork and recordkeeping in a timely manner.
Follow safety policies, HACCP requirements, and medical guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the area supervisor or management.
