About The Position

The Wash Station Associate supports kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using manual cleaning methods. The role includes cleaning dish storage areas, following sanitation and food-safety procedures, and assisting other associates in the kitchen as needed. Associates prioritize daily tasks in response to changing business needs and follow Heinen’s service and workplace standards.

Requirements

Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comply with all company policies and standards.
Possess a sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
Be able to work with minimal supervision.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Be willing to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives; business needs may occasionally require additional time.
Be willing to work a non-traditional five-day schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

Provide other associates with assistance in the kitchen as needed and follow sanitary and health-related processes.
Clean dish storage areas.
Clean and sanitize dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using manual cleaning methods.
Follow sanitation policies at all times.
Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
Comply with personal and food safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
