About The Position

Under limited supervision, this position is responsible for washing electronic assemblies to remove contaminants. The role requires the ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a high volume of workload and train in all aspects to work toward successful certification of operation. TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology products, including mission systems, radio frequency (“RF”) components, RF microwave/microelectronic assemblies, and technologically advanced printed circuit boards (“PCB”s). TTM stands for time-to-market, representing how TTM's time-critical, one-stop design, engineering and manufacturing services enable customers to reduce the time required to develop new products and bring them to market. This position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.

Requirements

  • Good English skills, able to read, write and speak clearly.
  • Computer skills, including working knowledge of Windows, Word and Outlook.
  • Good reading vision.
  • Ability to pass eye exam with a minimum 20/20 vision that may be corrected via eyeglasses or contact lenses as required. Eye exam is required annually.
  • Ability to understand printed circuit board assembly including reading assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and written work instructions.
  • Ability to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week and is flexible to work weekends if necessary.
  • Availability to work extra hours at the company’s request is mandatory.
  • Ability to work or come into contact with chemical or biological agents which may pose health or safety hazards if improperly handled.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs, able to sit/stand for up to 10 hours at a time.
  • Ability and willingness to cross train in other areas.
  • Ability to work efficiently with little supervision.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks.
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with hand tools and assembly operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with automated and semi-automated wash systems.
  • Perform minor chemical additions as needed.
  • Handle electronic assemblies to prevent damage.
  • Perform machine Preventive Maintenance.
  • Ability to follow equipment procedures.
  • Visually check work in process for defects and makes adjustments as required.
  • Comprehend and follow instructions.
  • Communicate regularly to supervisor/managers; suggests procedural changes.
  • Work effectively and responsibly with others.
  • Attends meetings, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to Supervisors safety hazards and issues.
  • Cross train in other areas.
  • All other assigned duties as required within the production organization.
