This Production Associate role involves working in a fun, team-oriented environment, operating production equipment, and performing various tasks related to producing printed circuit boards. Strong attention to detail and safety orientation are key. Training is provided for those new to printed circuit boards. Specifically, the Production Associate II in the Fillets department assists in all operations of that department.

Requirements

  • Basic English and mathematical skills.

  • Basic understanding and working knowledge of blueprints.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good hand, eye coordination, reading vision, steady hand, hearing perception.
  • Able to speak clearly.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated, self-starter.
  • Able to work with and around chemicals/solvents.
  • Able to work under a microscope.
  • Able to work with small hand tools.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Able to work up to 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, and is flexible to work on weekends.
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of flex/rigid boards and the application of strain relief epoxy to flex/rigid interfaces.
  • Removes Cocoons/Caps as required per print on flex area.
  • Attends meetings, communicates regularly with managers and supervisors, attends special training, maintains a clean, safe work environment and communicates to supervisors any safety hazards and issues.
  • Generates, accumulates and handles hazardous wastes generated in daily operations, as directed by the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager.
  • Responsible to report all accidents, near misses and safety concerns in a timely manner.
  • Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.
