Client is looking for a Warranty Hub Housing Troubleshooting Engineers to support warranty analysis and issue resolution using GIMS (Global Issue Management System). This role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and resolving housing-related warranty concerns, ensuring rapid containment and long-term corrective actions. The position sits at the intersection of warranty, quality, and engineering, making it ideal for junior-to-mid engineers looking to grow technical and analytical expertise within a global automotive OEM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar discipline
  • 1–4 years of experience in warranty, quality, manufacturing, or engineering support roles
  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and components, particularly housings or structural parts
  • Experience or exposure to warranty systems or issue tracking tools (GIMS preferred)
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with field/warranty data analysis
  • Familiarity with RCA, 8D problem-solving methodologies
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes (casting, machining, assembly)
  • Understanding of supplier quality processes
  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze warranty claims and field data related to hub housing and associated components
  • Use GIMS to track issues, document root cause investigations, and manage corrective actions
  • Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on returned parts and field reports
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams to identify root causes
  • Support development and validation of containment, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Prepare technical summaries, dashboards, and reports for management review
  • Support plant visits, teardown activities, and supplier investigations as required
