Requirements

  • Uses and understands SPC applications.
  • Properly handles and disposes of any hazardous waste material in respective area.

Nice To Haves

  • Assists in and/or leads customer driven root cause analysis processes (i.e. DCAR & 8D).
  • Visually inspects customer part returns and determines disposition on any non-conforming product (i.e. Company or customer origin).
  • Gathers and summarizes data for monthly quality reports.
  • Performs other duties as necessary including providing product launch support to Quality Engineers.
  • Monitors performance trends, identifies specific failure modes and provides reports on trends.
  • Provides competitive analysis for warranty sharing agreements.
  • Identifies cause of failures and determines appropriateness of warranty part replacement.
  • Alerts task team of failure and initiates immediate shipment of replacement part.
  • Works closely with customer to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinates return of failed part from customer, and forwards part to Advanced Engineering for failure analysis.
  • Maintains tracking system of warranty replacement parts.

Responsibilities

  • Performs product testing using a variety of methods.
  • Audits products to ensure system compliance with customer requirements/specifications.
  • Uses and understands SPC applications.
  • Issues and maintains activities relating to corrective and/or preventative action.
  • Provides input on causes or reasons for quality problems and recommends process changes if necessary.
  • Assists in and/or leads customer driven root cause analysis processes (i.e. DCAR & 8D).
  • Visually inspects customer part returns and determines disposition on any non-conforming product (i.e. Company or customer origin).
  • Gathers and summarizes data for monthly quality reports.
