About The Position
The Service Warranty Administrator manages and processes warranty claims to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement from manufacturers and warranty providers. The role requires understanding warranty policies, strong organizational skills, and effective coordination among service technicians, customers, and manufacturers. Responsibilities
- Process warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
- Interpret warranty policies and procedures from various manufacturers.
- Communicate with service technicians to gather information needed for claims.
- Liaise with manufacturer representatives to resolve complex warranty issues.
- Maintain detailed records of warranty transactions and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
- Assist in training service advisors on warranty processes and updates.
- Monitor and report warranty claim trends and issues.
- Reconcile warranty accounts and prepare financial reports.
- Handle customer inquiries related to warranty coverage and claims.
