About The Position

Hertrich Family of Dealerships, a growing, family-owned automotive leader with over 60 years of history, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Warranty Administrator to join their service team. This role is critical for accurate and efficient processing of warranty claims and provides support to service advisors, technicians, and management. The ideal candidate will have automotive dealership experience or a strong warranty claims background and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Automotive dealership experience preferred
  • Warranty administration / claims experience strongly preferred
  • Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

  • Submit and process manufacturer warranty claims accurately and promptly
  • Review repair orders to ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements
  • Track warranty receivables and reconcile warranty payments
  • Follow up on rejected or pending claims and resubmit as needed
  • Maintain organized and accurate warranty records and documentation
  • Communicate with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturers
  • Assist with customer inquiries and support the service department as needed
  • Help ensure warranty processes meet dealership and manufacturer standards
