About The Position

Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 3 years of work experience.
Experience is not required but is preferred.
Basic computer skills are preferred but not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Some travel may be required to attend training classes.
Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
An applicant will NOT be considered for this position if they currently have (as of application date) more than 6.0 points of absenteeism on their record, and/or have any Written Warning Suspension(s).

Responsibilities

Training employees.
Planning assigning and directing work.
Scheduling and managing overtime appraising performance.
Disciplining employees.
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off the floor or receiving from outside vendors.
Manage housekeeping in dock area.
Ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently.
Promoting a safe work environment.
Performing other responsibilities as needed.
Following all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods.
