Requirements
- Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years
- Associates or Bachelors Degree
- Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
Nice To Haves
- Heavy focus on ground/road freight and warehousing/distribution which includes basic warehouse activities/inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate pick up and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards.
- Communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Track and Trace truck transportation shipments and reporting
- Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments
- Ensure accurate and timely client billing
- Learn US Export and Dangerous Goods compliance regulations
- Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Meet both company and US compliance standards at all times
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
