Requirements

  • Previous experience within the logistics field or equivalent training of 2 years
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree
  • Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English

Nice To Haves

  • Heavy focus on ground/road freight and warehousing/distribution which includes basic warehouse activities/inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a customer portfolio, being responsible for bookings, accurate pick up and scheduling of transportation between customer, service provider and receiver.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation, processes through Expeditors systems within the operational process standards.
  • Communicate delays and work with autonomy to solve challenges to achieve delivery needs of your clients.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
  • Track and Trace truck transportation shipments and reporting
  • Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing
  • Learn US Export and Dangerous Goods compliance regulations
  • Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Meet both company and US compliance standards at all times
  • Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
