About The Position

This role involves assisting in shipping or receiving, reading warehouse documentation to determine items for movement, gathering, distribution, or shipment, and moving items to appropriate areas. The Warehouser will record material movements into a computer database, assist in physical inventories and cycle counts, and help maintain inventory records by posting received and disbursed materials and distributing shortage lists. The position requires maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, operating warehouse machinery safely, and reporting any equipment maintenance issues to a supervisor. The role also includes performing other work-related tasks as assigned and complying with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50#
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Shipping or Receiving when needed.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
