About The Position

This role involves assisting in shipping or receiving, reading documentation to determine item movement, gathering, distribution, or shipping. The Warehouser will move items to appropriate areas, record material movement into a computer database, and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory records, ensuring the warehouse is clean, orderly, and safe, and operating warehouse machinery safely while reporting any maintenance issues. The position also requires performing other work-related tasks as assigned and complying with NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50#
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Basic computer knowledge required.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years’ warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Shipping or Receiving when needed.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
