About The Position
This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. The role involves executing picking, shipping, or receiving tasks. Responsibilities include reading warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped, moving items to appropriate areas, and recording material movements in a computer database. The role also involves assisting in physical inventories and cycle counts, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring the warehouse is clean, orderly, and safe. The employee will operate warehouse machinery safely and report any maintenance issues. Compliance with company and HSE policies is required. This is an "On-Site" role.
Requirements
- Strong forklift experience
- Specific experience in turret trucks or narrow aisled lifts
- Willingness to work Day and Night shifts
Responsibilities
- Execute Picking, Shipping or Receiving
- Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
- Move items to appropriate areas.
- Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
- Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
- Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
- Utilize safe working habits.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
