About The Position

This role involves various warehouse operations including material handling, painting, warehousing, and shipping. The Warehouser will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, operating machinery, and ensuring smooth workflow processes. The position also requires assisting and training junior employees, coordinating inventory counts, and adhering to company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5+ years of experience preferred
  • Willing and able to successfully complete a respirator fit test as required
  • Working knowledge within an industrial environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, Kardex systems and ERP systems
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, clothing, glasses, goggles, respirator/face mask, ear plugs/muffs and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
  • Work potentially will be performed in areas where harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing chemicals)
  • May be required to participate in medical surveillance programs per HSE requirements
  • Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
  • Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedule
  • Operate machinery eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day
  • Must be able to lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to routinely bend

Nice To Haves

  • Good working knowledge of the Oil and Gas in a relevant field preferred
  • Forklift license is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Work in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Back up Material Handling, Painting, Warehousing, Shipping
  • Assist other employees with the Kardex System
  • Locate equipment within the warehouse
  • Coordinate and manage employees conducting cycle counts and physical inventory
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes and associated documentation, including ERP systems
  • Understand and execute department work processes and workflow
  • Inspect parts for accuracy in dimensions, weight, and other metrics
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
  • Train and assist Jr level employees to meet department goals
  • Operate a stand-up forklift and a turret forklift
  • Handle material
  • Maintain proper inventory levels
  • Safely label and store materials
  • Requisition all materials and supplies required to operate work center efficiently
  • Work as a team player in a fast-paced environment to meet production goals
  • Report problems to responsible management levels
  • Meet established company production goals
