About The Position

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Warehouser to join their team in Allentown, PA. This role involves safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trailers using appropriate equipment – carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Picking, packing, and staging freight for pickup
• Physically lifting and moving boxes
• Utilizing scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including but not limited to day and night shifts, weekends and or holiday work

Benefits

• Earn $20.05 per hour. Rate will increase to $21.05 after 12 months of employment
