About The Position

Receives, stores and distributes materials, tools, and equipment within the warehouse. Operates material handling equipment to stow or issue materials. Conducts inventory of materials. Fills pick tickets or requests for materials from workers or vendors. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Requirements

Experience in stockroom/warehouse environment, including receiving, stocking, issuing materials and CRT experience
Knowledge of computerized inventory and material control systems necessary
Ability to operate forklift, order picker, turret lift
Accurate accounting skills
NASSCO Forklift certification required
Ability to work at heights
Ability to work in confined spaces
Available to work any shift
Comprehend written and verbal instructions
Hear warning signals
Read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations and warnings
General safety awareness and ability to avoid hazards

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping in all work areas, including sweeping
May be required to attend safety quality and/or process improvement meetings

Responsibilities
