About The Position

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future. Position in Barrie, Ontario - Monday - Friday, Afternoon shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Requirements

• High level of safety and operation procedure awareness
• Must have and maintain valid material handling equipment certifications and safely operate all equipment pertaining to this position
• Able to read and write English
• Familiar with company products and customer codes
• Able to do mathematical calculations
• Familiar and comprehend handheld scanners
• Physically fit and provide good work attendance
• Able to work overtime on short notice
• Able to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Able to work independently
• Must be able to attend all inhouse or offsite training that maybe scheduled outside your regular work hours
• Able to work any scheduled shift A, B or C.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge/comfortable working and operating all warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks and automated systems) to perform duties
• Packing, labelling customer orders ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Organizing items and storing them in the correct location.
• Lifting to heights of up to 20 ft.
• Stacking and unstacking racks of gutter and downpipe
• Loading and unloading pallets onto racks
• Loading and unloading trailers and containers
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety standards and proper equipment storage
