About The Position

The Warehouse Clerk at dnata Catering, an aviation catering company, plays a key role in inventory management and warehouse operations. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing products, equipment, and supplies. The Warehouse Clerk supports accurate inventory control, proper stock rotation, and routine inventory counts, while working closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment are essential to supporting dnata Catering’s operational excellence and on-time service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related warehouse and inventory experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Lift, push, pull, move 40 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to work Holiday, weekends, nights, and mornings.
  • Continuously asked to multi-task under time limits.
  • Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including: following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time.
  • Requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
  • Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all inbound flights and ensure storage equipment and assigned cages are properly secured
  • Monitor and secure all duty-free goods
  • Move stock on flat surfaces and inclined ramps using hand trucks, lifts, and pallet movers
  • Restock, move, and rotate inventory within all storage areas
  • Break down refuse containers for proper disposal
  • Maintain clean and organized storage areas daily, including cleanup of spills and breakage
  • Work collaboratively as a team player with all levels of supervision
  • Perform duties safely to prevent injury to self and others
  • Assist with inventory checks and audits as required
  • Comply with all HACCP and food safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
