Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to use personal protective equipment including company uniforms, hearing and eye protection.
  • Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day to monitor production.
  • Routinely pushes/pulls up to 100 pounds from waist to chest level
  • Ability to use a pallet jack to lift 75-125 pounds.
  • Must be able to routinely get on and off the forklift, pull a pallet jack and bend and lift as needed to pick materials from the warehouse racks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient preparation, staging, loading and unloading of trucks for the shipping and receiving of product and raw materials.
  • Operates forklift, pallet jack and hoist to successfully run the bag slitting equipment to blend and process tea for the production lines.
  • Proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trucks for shipment of finished product or the receipt of raw materials and packaging materials for production.
  • Takes picking orders from Supervisor or Lead and picks goods for shipment to customers.
  • Verify accuracy of all shipments to customers.
  • Uses scanner to put away, pick, load and perform cycle using electronic inventory equipment (iMake).
  • Correctly completes all required paperwork.
  • Ensure that all trucks are loaded and unloaded safely and correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
