Warehouse Worker 3rd shift

About The Position

Join LKQ Corporation as a Warehouse Worker. This role performs warehouse duties related to receiving and putting away inbound products, picking and staging orders, transporting products, and maintaining organized work areas. The position may also involve shipping and receiving, processing stock and materials, packing orders, retrieving inventory, and operating manual or powered warehouse equipment. The role works the 3rd shift from 8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and pays $19.50 per hour. The position does not supervise employees.

Requirements

Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate basic messages orally; may write brief messages and keep simple records.
Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and guidance provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to work on assigned tasks and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and assume awkward positions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
Prior PIT (forklift, order picker, etc.) experience.

Responsibilities

Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products in and around the warehouse.
Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
Comply with established company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
May perform duties related to shipping and receiving, processing incoming stock and materials, filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing, or retrieving warehouse stock.
