This non-exempt role reports to the Foreman and is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products according to specific procedures. Work is checked frequently.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Post offer drug screen and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Group, LLC. Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace
- Computer literacy - Google Workspace

Responsibilities
- Stores, removes, loads, and unloads all types of materials from storage bins, pallets and vehicles that cannot be handled by material handling devices.
- Operates manual or mechanical devices and stocks inventory shelves.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Assorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, or color.
- Moves materials and supplies from the warehouse and prepares for delivery.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or stock items.
- Records material items received or distributed.
- May maintain inventory records.
- Performs routine housekeeping tasks to maintain work area.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
