About The Position

Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Material Coordinator in the Salt Lake City, UT area. The Warehouse position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. This is a non-exempt role that reports to the Foreman. Assigned duties are according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently.

Requirements

Proficient in SAP Materials Management
2-5 years experience in an industrial warehouse
Forklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
Ability to pass all required Safety Council Courses
Basic computer skills preferred
Computer literacy - Google Workspace
Communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place

Nice To Haves

Forklift operation experience, preferred

Responsibilities

Receive deliveries, update SAP, stage materials ahead of planned and nonplanned maintenance activities
Insure stock is organized and stock levels are maintained
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures
Studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities
May confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products
May verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift
