About The Position

National Star Services, a leading facility management company with over 28 years of industry experience, is seeking reliable, hardworking Warehouse Helpers to support our client’s facility located in Des Plaines, IL 60018. This role involves coordinating and tracking incoming shipments, verifying received materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely fulfillment of requests. The position requires adherence to company safety, hygiene, and quality standards, and supporting daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. The pay rate is $17.50/hour for regular hours and $26.25/hour for overtime, with biweekly pay. The work schedule is Monday – Sunday, with two days off during the week and weekend work required, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Requirements

Authorized to lawfully work in the U.S.
Bilingual (English & Spanish) required
Steel toe shoes/boots required for safety
Reliable transportation to and from work
Availability to start working ASAP

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse experience is preferred
Ability to lift heavy as required by the role

Responsibilities

Coordinate and track incoming shipments and deliveries to ensure timely processing.
Verify received materials against invoices, delivery orders, and company requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for inventory, equipment, and supply distribution.
Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to ensure adequate stock availability.
Communicate updates regarding material availability, delivery changes, shortages, or other operational issues.
Ensure requested items and approved substitutions are fulfilled promptly.
Follow company safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times.
Support daily operations to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
