About The Position

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including picking and stocking products, maintaining organization, and ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of goods. This role involves working with a variety of products and requires attention to detail and physical capability. The position offers a unique work schedule and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Must have or acquire forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift, and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to obtain and maintain case picks per hour and accuracy goals as assigned.
  • Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in products being distributed.
  • Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened, while maintaining the rotation of product to ensure freshness.
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
  • Store product in bins, racks, on the floor, or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, brand, or type of material.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and builds orders on pallets, effectively and safely for successful delivery.
  • Helps to clean up all warehouse areas worked during the shift by sweeping, discarding of trash, and empty boxes prior to the end of the shift.
  • Participates and receives training certificates for the proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Benefits

  • Pay ranges from $18.25 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience.
  • Plus $1.25 night premium pay.
  • $500.00 sign-on bonus after 60 day mark.
  • $500.00 retention bonus at 6 month and 12-month marks.
  • Only 195 workdays per year!
  • Monday – Thursday 4-10 schedule (3 Day weekends).
  • 128 hours of Paid Time Off Annually to start (13 days).
