About The Position

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Worker to join their Operations team. This role is responsible for materials handling and product distribution within a distribution environment. The Warehouse Operations team performs manual and automated tasks for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, and storage. The Associate II, Warehouse Operations assists with Inbound or Outbound activities, meeting quality, safety, and productivity standards. This position involves receiving products in the Inbound section and shipping products in the Outbound section.

Requirements

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
Applies acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks
Readily learns and applies new information and methods to work in assigned area
Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
Works within clearly defined standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Adheres to all quality guidelines
Works under moderate degree of supervision
Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor
Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
Follows regulations to store refrigerated products if working with specialty products.
Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.
