About The Position

The Warehouse Worker ensures complete and accurate processing of all incoming shipments, pick tickets and outbound customer loads. Must be comfortable with heights and operating a variety of equipment including standup forklifts, turret/swing-reach trucks, cherry pickers and pallet jacks. Weekend shift is Friday - Sunday 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM.

Requirements

Minimum of 12 months continuous experience on Forklifts, Reach Trucks or Turret Trucks
Minimum of 12 months cumulative experience in a Warehouse/Distribution environment
Experience in RF Scan Guns and Warehouse Management Computer Software
The ability to work independently and as part of the team
Organizational, planning, documentation, reporting and time management skills
Excellent attendance
The ability to lift 50 lbs, and to stand, bend, stretch, sit and reach continuously throughout the shift
Tolerance for changing warehouse conditions due to weather (extreme heat or cold)

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized work environment, always prioritizing safety
Unloads inbound shuttles from the plants
Puts product away in an organized manner
Tracks bin locations of new product
Consolidates product when applicable to create additional storage space
Picks customer orders according to pick ticket specifications
Ensures product and packaging is in good condition
Stages product in stop order in designated staging lane, consolidates product when applicable
Loads product from staging area onto specified truck trailer
Ensures product is in excellent shipping condition and in the proper stop order
Completes audit sheets when applicable
Works with site Customer Service Reps to verify additional product that might be available
Completes all necessary BOL and internal paperwork
Completes spot checks and inventory counts based upon assignments provided by the Inventory Analyst
Investigates discrepancies in product, quantity, or labeling
Daily auditing of skus and quantities
Maintains corrugate variety and supply
Works independently or on a team to complete special projects for the site
Maintains quality service by following Growscape's company-wide standards; maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping bin locations, pallet area, and workstations neat and free of debris and trash; maintain clean shipping supply area; complies with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
