About The Position

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is seeking a warehouse worker in Livonia, Michigan. The worker will efficiently process and manage cardboard waste materials by sorting reusable cardboard, breaking down boxes, operating baling machinery to compress cardboard into compact bales, and placing the bales on pallets. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective collaboration with the team. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM, at $17.50 per hour with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Two valid forms of identification.
• Steel-toe boots.
• Own transportation for commuting.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 65 pounds.
• Must undergo a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage cardboard waste materials efficiently.
• Sort reusable cardboard and break down boxes.
• Operate baling machinery to compress cardboard into compact bales.
• Place compacted bales on pallets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
