About The Position

LKQ Corporation is hiring a 3rd Shift Warehouse Worker at $21 per hour. The role supports warehouse shipping and/or receiving operations, including processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving warehouse stock. The worker may operate manual or powered equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

The position is not responsible for supervising employees. Work follows standard procedures and supervisor or manager guidance, with assignments and priorities provided by a supervisor or manager. The role may involve periodic travel, including overnight stays, depending on position requirements.

Requirements

• Up to 1 year of work-related experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate basic messages orally, write brief messages, and keep simple records.
• Ability to follow clear directions, standard procedures, and supervisor or manager guidance.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles and in awkward positions; may regularly wear personal protective equipment and be exposed to hazardous situations, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in a warehouse or similar work environment.
• Prior experience operating PIT equipment, such as a forklift or order picker.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound product and put it away in designated locations.
• Pick or pull the correct product from appropriate locations and deliver it to the staging area or delivery truck.
• Operate manual or powered equipment to transport products in and around the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Maintain orderliness and housekeeping in assigned work areas.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
• Assume other duties as assigned.
