First Shift Warehouse Worker
About The Position
Our well-respected, family-owned company is looking for a first shift warehouse worker. This position will pick and build orders, receive and store beer, load trucks, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, building, and grounds. This is a production-oriented, and labor-intensive job with a goal of increasing warehouse efficiency and accuracy. This fast-paced, physically demanding position requires the ability to work independently, yet function as a team. Advancement in the company is possible if expectations are consistently exceeded. Must be at least 18 years old, have a high school degree or equivalent, and the ability to successfully complete a drug screening and a background check.
Requirements

- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, labor-intensive, production-oriented environment
- The ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining a positive, team-player attitude
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Willingness and ability to work outside maintaining our grounds, empty trash and maintain a neat, clean building, and work in a multi-temperature warehouse environment
- Willingness to work before, during, and after holidays
- Must be able to successfully complete a drug screening and background check
- Must be at least 18 years old
Nice To Haves
- Proven working experience pulling and packing orders in a warehouse environment is ideal
- Forklift experience and certification is a plus
- Voice pick experience is ideal
Responsibilities
- Pick and build orders/loads for deliveries
- Receive and process beverage deliveries
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
