About The Position

The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse, including picking and organizing stock, filling orders, assembling customer orders, and maintaining a clean work environment. This role also involves training and certification for operating forklifts and pallet jacks. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Must have or acquire forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift, and pallet jack operations, pallet building, and inventory procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to obtain and maintain case picks per hour and accuracy goals as assigned.
  • Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and takes pride in products being distributed.
  • Keeps all locations neat, organized, and straightened, while maintaining the rotation of product to ensure freshness.
  • Fills orders or issues supplies from stock with care, concern, and diligence.
  • Store product in bins, racks, on the floor, or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size, brand, or type of material.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and builds orders on pallets, effectively and safely for successful delivery.
  • Helps to clean up all warehouse areas worked during the shift by sweeping, discarding of trash, and empty boxes prior to the end of the shift.
  • Participates and receives training certificates for the proper and safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks.

Benefits

  • Pay ranges from $18.25 to $26.00 per hour depending on experience. Plus $1.25 night shift premium pay.
  • $500.00 sign-on bonus after 60 day mark.
  • $500.00 retention bonus at 6 month and 12-month marks.
