About The Position

As a Warehouse Worker, you will provide warehouse support by picking, packing, assembling, sorting, shipping, and receiving orders to meet the facility’s productivity and quality goals. The role involves handling and moving products throughout the warehouse, preparing customer orders for shipment, recording inventory movements, and following safety practices. The position requires use of an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift, effective communication with warehouse and transportation personnel, proper care of company-issued equipment, and wearing the company-issued uniform.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to use an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.

Responsibilities

Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Move materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sort and break down products by SKU, quantity, and product type.
Communicate effectively with Receivers, Drivers, Driver Check-in, and Forklift Operators.
Follow proper safety practices during the truck and trailer pull process each day.
Sort and store goods in designated warehouse areas.
Properly handle company-issued equipment, including PPE and voice equipment.
Report safety concerns in the work environment in a timely manner.
Wear the company-issued uniform.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves, or move them to the loading dock for shipping preparation.
Label pallets with identifying information when instructed.
Open bales, crates, and other containers when necessary.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
Use an electric pallet jack and stand-up forklift.
