Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or material handling environment strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with all levels.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, follow-up and follow-through.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with production, warehouse, and shipping personnel.
  • Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues within established procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling materials, inventory, and shipping documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 40 pounds or use assist equipment.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the work shift.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, noise levels and temperature (no heating or a/c).
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify customer orders for shipment according to company requirements.
  • Load and unload materials, pallets, and finished goods safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper labeling prior to shipment.
  • Maintain shipping documentation and support inventory accuracy.
  • Properly strap, band, wrap, and secure finished products to prevent damage during storage and transportation.
  • Verify packaging meets company and customer specifications.
  • Inspect products for quality and condition prior to packaging and shipment.
  • Maintain packaging materials and supplies inventory.
  • Ensure all finished goods are correctly identified and labeled.
  • Deliver raw materials, components, tools, and supplies to production workstations.
  • Maintain finished goods area orderly by removing finished goods, scrap material, and emptying containers from production areas.
  • Monitor material levels and replenish supplies to support uninterrupted production.
  • Coordinate material movements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Assist with inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory control activities as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and workplace safety.
  • Report equipment, inventory, quality, or safety concerns to supervision promptly.
