About The Position

The Warehouse Worker issues materials from stock, moves materials between locations, stocks shelves, and stages orders. The role loads and unloads trailers using a forklift, verifies and documents quantities against packing lists, and records damage and cleanliness. It also involves loading and sorting empty pallets by forklift and by hand, and preparing materials for shipment by moving and verifying materials and quantities, including materials remaining in inventory. The position requires working in a cold environment and meeting pick standards while following safe operating practices.

Requirements

• Valid forklift/pallet jack license.
• Able to read and write instructions in English and communicate with other distribution center employees.
• Able to work in a cold environment of 0–40 degrees.
• Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
• Able to routinely lift up to 80 pounds and meet pick standard requirements.
• Able to successfully operate and care for a scan gun.
• Able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must submit to and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Issue materials from stock and move them between locations.
