About The Position

The LCBO is an Ontario government enterprise and one of the world's largest buyers and retailers of beverage alcohol. Under the direction of department supervisor, you will perform a variety of responsibilities which include, but are not limited to, safe case handling, storing, preparing, checking, and assembling functions either manually or by operating material handling equipment, including rideable equipment. We are hiring Warehouse Workers to join the outstanding team in our Thunder Bay Retail Service Centre facility located at 615 Harold Crescent, Thunder Bay. About the Role: Select, assemble, and prepare pallet orders for customers Physically able to load and unload cases of beer, wine, spirits, and cider that weigh between 40 lbs (18 kg if you prefer the metric system) and 60 lbs (27 kg) Required to stand for lengthy periods of time with repetitive movement such as reaching, climbing, bending, twisting, and walking Clean up accidental spills; we all pitch in to be safe

Requirements

  • Ability to follow procedures and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluent in English, as well be proficient in reading writing and basic arithmetic
  • Must be available for any shift Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:45 p.m
  • Required to complete a criminal record check that is paid for by the LCBO
