About The Position

This role is responsible for various warehouse operations including loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving items. The position involves optimizing loads for efficiency, securing loads for transport, and ensuring product load accuracy. The worker will also perform routine tasks to support production activities, manually or mechanically load/unload materials from various transport vehicles, and operate powered trucks or tractors to move materials within the facility. Additionally, the role requires arranging sheet metal in the warehouse.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months forklift driving experience
• Ability to regularly lift 25-50 pounds
• Ability to stand for 95% of work days
• Ability to pass a drug test/background check

Nice To Haves

• Forklift driving experience preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting
• Forklift certification
• Man lift certification
• Tractor certification

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation
• Inspect product load for accuracy and safely navigate around the warehouse or facility
• Perform variety of routine tasks to assist in production activities
• Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles
• Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas
• Arrange sheet metal in warehouse
