About The Position

The Warehouse Work Experience Trainee role provides firsthand, real-world exposure to warehouse operations and logistics in a dynamic environment. Participants learn to handle goods, maintain safety standards, and support day-to-day production activities. The program is intended for individuals interested in gaining experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain work. Applicants must be pre-qualified for a Goodwill SoCal work experience program; qualification can be checked at a Resource Center or through goodwillsocal.org.

Requirements

• Must be pre-qualified for a Goodwill SoCal work experience program.

Responsibilities

• Learn safe loading and unloading practices.
• Sort recyclables and goods.
• Learn basic warehouse organization and materials handling.
• Learn to operate manual equipment, including a pallet jack, hand truck, and dolly.
• Maintain cleanliness and develop teamwork and time-management skills in a warehouse setting.
• Support day-to-day production activities.
