About The Position

This role is for an energetic and hardworking individual who enjoys fast-paced, behind-the-scenes work and physical labor. The wire cutter operator oversees the cutting of wire and cable using machines, ensuring accuracy of cuts. Responsibilities include measuring and bundling wires and cables for job orders, working with installation teams, unloading and loading materials, moving waste or materials, verifying equipment functionality, and making deliveries as needed.

Requirements

Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with Wire and warehouse settings.
Must be comfortable working in various plant level environments.
Must be self-motivated.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must have IN Drive for hire to be able to complete deliveries as needed (For IN residents only).

Responsibilities

Oversee cutting wire and cable with the use of machines.
Ensure the accuracy of the cuts.
Measure and bundle wires and cables appropriately for the job orders.
Work with the installation teams to make sure they get the proper wires for assembly.
Unload and load materials.
Move waste or materials to the proper locations.
Verify all the equipment is working properly.
Make deliveries as needed.
Package product and ensure accuracy of the material being prepared and delivered.
Maintain work environment with respect to safety, efficiency, and cleanliness.
Maintain departmental working relationships to achieve total performance requirements.
Interpret customer supplied documentation such as purchase orders.
Complete assignments, projects, and other related duties as required by management.
Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels.
