About The Position

As the Value-Added Services Lead at Crescent Electric, you will oversee the daily operations of the Value-Added Services team; including, but not limited to, wire cutting, pipe cutting, inventory control, safety and housekeeping, and the direction of Value-Added Services staff activities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
1+ years of experience using a stand-up reach forklift, power pallet jacks, cherry picker, and sit-down forklift.
1+ years of warehouse experience.
3+ years of experience working in a wire cutting, CNC, machine operator, and/or production capacity.
Proficient in Eclipse, specifically History Ledger, Change Log, Product Activity Log, and Location Maintenance.
Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse terminology and practices.
Reading and understanding cut tags and cut comments.
Utilizing, or learn to use, all necessary computer software and industrial equipment.
Verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently and meet minimum productivity standards.
Ability to be reliable, open to change, and adaptable.
Ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions.
Ability to perform basic mathematics and arithmetic.
Ability to use contemporary merchandise processing equipment, such as hand-held scanners.
Ability to use warehouse equipment and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

Assign work duties in the wire and pipe department, as needed.
Meet with Value-Added Services Associates daily to answer questions, provide support, and deliver work instructions.
Ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment.
Identify deficiencies and/or areas of improvement and communicate to management team for resolution.
Partner cross-functionally to rectify issues and address errors.
Ensure appropriate training is provided to and completed by value-added services team members.
Perform Value-Added Services Associate Level 1, 2, and 3 tasks, as needed.
Communicate with supervisor and manager as needed when operation is not in accordance with organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws for further investigation.
