About The Position

This labor-intensive position is responsible for ensuring accuracy, stability, wrapping and labeling of all outgoing pallets/carts that depart the warehouse daily. The position is responsible for verifying all items on each pallet prior to it being loaded on the proper delivery truck. The position will be responsible for staging all outgoing pallets by route to be loaded onto proper delivery trucks and assisting loaders to ensure all orders are placed correctly. The position will be back up for ensuring all invoices are generated within the route accounting software and proper paperwork is completed for each delivery route at the end of the day. The position is required to work in a variety of adverse weather-related conditions. The position requires lifting a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period. It requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping as product is moved.

Experience working in a warehouse environment (e.g., product storage, product staging, forklifts, etc.)
Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
Experience working in a team environment (e.g., cooperating with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.)

Responsibilities

Verifying/counting each pallet/cart in Easy Ops application after picking staff completes it
Labeling each pallet/cart and placing proper documentation correctly
Exhibits proficiency with Easy Pick application
Demonstrates minimum picking requirements as assigned
Demonstrates organizational skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency as needed
Proper pallet jack usage
Meets attendance standards as outlined in the handbook
Demonstrates a good “team” work ethic (gets along well with others, works together with peers for a positive outcome, assists with collaborative problem solving, etc.)
Exhibits understanding of technology and devices (i.e. computers, tablets, software, cell phones, etc.)
Follows proper OSHA safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned by warehouse manager / supervisor

Assisting loaders to ensure all orders are placed correctly
Ensuring all invoices are generated within the route accounting software
Completing proper paperwork for each delivery route at the end of the day
