About The Position

This is a 6am-6:30pm position on a 2-2-3 rotation schedule at our offsite warehouse. The role involves working closely with Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, and Office Staff, utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for various tasks including printing pick lists, pulling orders, and resolving issues. Responsibilities include receiving product, checking lot numbers, quantities, and product condition, as well as inspecting for damage or leaks. The position requires creating pallet labels, storing product in designated locations using an RF scan gun, and rotating product using the FIFO method. Assistance with office/clerical duties and completing necessary paperwork are also part of the role. This includes updating orders with required information, marking off picked items, ensuring correct license plates are used, and prioritizing partial skids before full skids. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment through the 5s procedure, using only assigned equipment, and placing packing lists correctly after picking and wrapping are essential. Additionally, the role involves weighing ingredients for production needs, accurately reading batching sheets, prioritizing weigh-outs, and identifying/recording lot code and product information. Adherence to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies is mandatory, along with contributing to team efforts and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Forklift Certification (Reach Truck, Sit Down, Stand Up, Pallet Jack)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities
  • Ability to use an RF scan gun
  • 2+ years WMS experience
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with supervisors/managers, colleagues and individuals inside and outside the organization.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and comprehend English to ensure understanding of safety instructions, work procedures, policies, and communications essential to job performance.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, and Office Staff
  • Use WMS to print pick lists, pull orders, and resolve problems
  • Receive product into the warehouse, check a lot, quantity, condition of the product.
  • Check product for damage or leakers
  • Review and check orders
  • Create pallet labels and store product in proper storage locations using RF scan gun.
  • Rotate product FIFO
  • Assist with Office/Clerical duties as needed.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork
  • Update orders with all required information (Name, Shipping lane) and mark off items once they have been picked.
  • Make sure to use the correct license plate (LP) when picking orders
  • Make sure all partial skids are being pulled before pulling full skids.
  • Maintain designated work area assigned by using the 5s procedure to provide a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  • Make sure only the equipment assigned is being used.
  • Place packing list inside upright hand corner once picked and wrapped for the final audit.
  • Weigh out ingredients for current and future production needs.
  • Accurately read batching sheets and prioritize weigh out needs according to the customer and internal specifications.
  • Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.
  • Must maintain a clean working area and follow all GMP's
  • Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested
  • Must adhere to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies
  • Other duties, as assigned
