About The Position

The Warehouse Utility 1 is responsible for repacking products with packaging damaged during trade or warehouse handling, maintaining a clean warehouse, and sorting product or shells. The role follows established repack procedures to preserve package quality and integrity and handles products requiring destruction and recycling. It also includes warehouse material-handling tasks and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Use required personal protective equipment and comply with company safety policies.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain the safety and security of company assets.
• Use company-provided resources and technology.
• Have less than a high school education, up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrate initiative and teamwork.
• Provide quality management.
• Comply with the company Personal Protective Equipment Program; wear safety-toed shoes for specified tasks involving powered industrial equipment, palletized product, and other listed work areas.
• Meet the position's physical demands, including frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds; frequent walking and exposure to water; repeated standing and exposure to chemicals and weather; and continuous use of PPE or special clothing.

Responsibilities

• Identify products in sellable condition for the repack process.
• Account for and report products that must be destroyed and recovered through recycling.
• Follow repack procedures, including date coding, cleaning, taping, gluing, and testing package integrity.
• Maintain package quality and integrity while completing duties efficiently and on time.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area.
• Follow written and oral instructions.
• Load miscellaneous items and stack pallets and shells.
• Perform other appropriate duties assigned by management.
