About The Position

JOIN OUR TEAM! Come for a job and stay for a career! Electric Pallet Jack experience a MUST! Quaker Valley Foods, a refrigerated food distributor located in Northeast Philadelphia is looking to expand our Overnight Order Selector team! Are you detail oriented and able to select products accurately in a warehouse environment? As a warehouse worker, you'll select products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack. Our warehouse is temperature controlled, ranging anywhere from 30 degrees in the cooler to 0 degrees in the freezer.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen.
• Must have solid verifiable previous work history, preferably in a freezer based warehouse environment with 2 years ride on electric pallet jack experience
• Must be dependable.
• Basic mathematic skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills
• Ability to lift heavy loads (25-100 lbs) and remain standing for long periods
• 2+ years of experience using an electric ride-on standing pallet jack.
• Hands on experience in voice picking systems
• Attention to Detail.
• Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts in a cold environment
• Highschool diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Efficiently locate, select, stack on a pallet, and label product for shipment to customers.
• Navigate warehouse equipment to ensure customer orders are collected.
• Use wireless headset/voice-automated selection system.
• Communicate with coworkers and supervisors to optimize work completion.
• Perform visual inspections of orders to ensure they are correct and ready for shipment.
• Ensure company policies are met at all times.
