About The Position

G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food, storing and delivering over 4,000 food items to customers across 27 states and 35 countries. We are a rapidly expanding organization looking for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments. The Warehouse Unloader position is a key role in our operations.

Requirements

Operation of a powered industrial truck (PIT)
Ability to unload all incoming products, including floor-loaded products.
Ability to palletize product (stack on pallets) according to weight and product type.
Ability to re-throw pallets when product is damaged.
Ability to re-palletize product on good pallets.
Ability to break down and separate pallets when they are too high or of mixed product types.
Ability to run palletized product into freezer or cooler for storage.

Responsibilities

Operate a double pallet jack.
Unload trailers, including floor-loaded products.
Break down products according to business needs.
Prepare products for shipment.
Palletize product (stack on pallets) according to weight and product type.
Re-throw pallets when product is damaged.
Re-palletize product on good pallets.
Break down and separate pallets that are too high or of mixed product types.
Run palletized product into freezer or cooler for storage.
Cross-train in selection.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
