About The Position

Continental is a leading tire manufacturer and industry specialist that develops and produces sustainable, safe and convenient solutions for automotive manufacturers as well as industrial and end customers worldwide. The Warehouse Trucker Operator (WTO) role involves pre-shift inspections of forklifts, operating forklifts to manage tire inventory (stocking, preparing for loading, returning pallets), and utilizing a touch-screen monitor. The operator must also be able to lift propane tanks for refilling. This role is physically demanding, involving medium work with lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs, along with reaching, twisting, and occasional bending.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of manufacturing experience needed
• Applicants without a High School Diploma or GED, must complete In-House Competency Test (non-core jobs only) to be deemed eligible

Responsibilities

• Pre-shift inspection of fork lift
• Notify supervisor if fork lift needs repairs made
• Operate fork lift to put tires into stock
• Set tires up to be loaded onto trailer
• Return empty pallets
• Operate touch-screen monitor
• Lift propane tank for tank fill at the propane refilling station
